Musk at Milken Says AI Can Offset Losing Some Government Workers...
On May 5, 2025, Elon Musk spoke at the Milken Global Conference, advocating for AI to replace government workers, citing the U.S. government’s inefficiency. This statement, delivered during a closed-door session with financier Michael Milken, reflects a broader technocratic agenda…one that seeks to centralize power through technology. By examining the networks behind this event, including the Milken Institute’s history, Musk’s associates, and their ties to figures like Jeffrey Epstein, a troubling picture emerges: a coordinated effort to normalize AI as a tool for governance, at the expense of human agency and democratic oversight.
Musk’s Proposal at the Milken Conference
During his conversation with Michael Milken, Musk argued that AI should replace the functions of some public workers, according to Bloomberg. He also discussed Neuralink and SpaceX, but his focus on AI in government stood out. This aligns with Musk’s role in Trump’s Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), launched in 2024 to streamline federal operations. Musk has consistently pushed this narrative, stating in November 2024 that AI could handle 80% of bureaucratic tasks more effectively.

The proposal appears to prioritize efficiency, but its implications extend far beyond cost-cutting. Replacing human workers with AI systems shifts control to those who design and program the technology, an un-elected group of Technocrats. This vision mirrors a growing trend, exemplified by Palantir’s 2024 Department of Defense contracts, which expanded AI surveillance programs by $480 million.
Michael Milken and the Milken Institute’s Influence
Michael Milken, the conference host, has a controversial history. In the 1980s, he was known as the “junk bond king,” leading Drexel Burnham Lambert to prominence before its collapse. Milken pleaded guilty to securities fraud, paying a $650 million fine to the SEC, and served two years in prison. In 2020, Trump pardoned him, following advocacy from billionaires like Nelson Peltz and Sheldon Adelson, highlighting a pattern of leniency for financial elites.

Milken founded the Milken Institute in 1991, which has since become a platform for shaping global policy. The institute has a history of hosting influential figures and discussions that appear to preempt major events. In 2019, it featured Anthony Fauci and Deborah Birx discussing pandemic preparedness, months before COVID-19 emerged. Now, it provides a stage for Musk to advocate AI-driven governance.
Drexel’s Fallout and Apollo Global Management’s Rise
The collapse of Drexel Burnham Lambert in 1990 led to the creation of Apollo Global Management by former Drexel executives Leon Black, Josh Harris, and Marc Rowan. Apollo has grown into a $548 billion asset manager, acquiring distressed assets like Credit Suisse’s securitized products unit in 2022. Notably, Nigel Farage, a key figure in the Brexit movement, worked at Drexel early in his career, illustrating how financial networks intersect with political shifts.

Apollo’s trajectory demonstrates the persistence of elite financial power, adapting from the speculative excesses of the 1980s to the tech-driven economy of today. These same networks now support initiatives like AI governance, which Musk champions, suggesting a continuity of influence across decades.
Brock Pierce, Alex Spiro, and Epstein’s Shadow
The Milken Conference has a history of hosting controversial figures, including Brock Pierce, a former child actor turned cryptocurrency entrepreneur who spoke there in 2018. Pierce shares a lawyer, Alex Spiro, with Musk, creating a direct connection. More concerning are their ties to Jeffrey Epstein, a financier whose influence in tech and elite circles remains a point of scrutiny.
Brock Pierce in 2022
Pierce attended Epstein’s events, mingling with NASA engineers and MIT professors, as reported by The Hollywood Reporter in 2020. Musk met with Epstein in 2011 to discuss Tesla funding. Epstein’s role as a connector in these circles, facilitating relationships between tech moguls, financiers, and academics, raises questions about the ethical foundations of the AI agenda. His involvement in cryptocurrency and connections to MIT’s Media Lab further tie him to the tech-driven initiatives now being promoted.
A Technocratic Vision Rooted in History
Musk’s call to replace government workers with AI echoes the 1930s Technocracy Movement, which proposed a “Soviet of Technicians” to manage society through scientific efficiency. Thorstein Veblen, a leader of the movement, advocated for a technocratic elite to oversee resources, eliminate profit-driven economics, and replace human labor with automated systems.
“The Engineers and the Price System” by Thorstein Veblen
The modern parallel is clear in initiatives like Palantir’s AI surveillance programs, which merge tech and state power. This is a clear path to “Global Digital Communism under an AI Powered Government,” where private ownership and human agency are supplanted by centralized, tech-driven control. The World Economic Forum has similarly promoted AI governance, framing it as a cornerstone of the “Fourth Industrial Revolution.”
Elite Networks and Predictive Programming
Epstein’s ties to Musk, Pierce, and others suggest a networked elite advancing a shared agenda. They ‘killed’ Epstein to burn down the old Blackmail System, Peter Thiel/Mossad does it all digitally now. AI serves as a new mechanism for control, collecting data on a massive scale to replace older forms of influence.
The Milken Institute’s history reinforces this narrative. Its 2019 panel with Fauci and Birx, followed by Musk’s 2025 appearance, points to a pattern of predictive programming…where elites shape public expectations for radical change.
The Stakes: Human Agency vs. Technocratic Control
If this agenda succeeds, the implications are profound. AI-driven governance could erode human agency, replacing empathetic roles with data-mining algorithms and automating jobs to eliminate economic independence. Veblen stated in his book “The Engineers and the Price System” the following: “The engineers and the industrial experts… placidly content with the ‘full dinner-pail’… the lieutenants of the Vested Interests habitually allow them.” In other words, the elite intended to use technology to pacify the masses while consolidating power.

This “vision” aligns with Palantir’s surveillance expansion, Apollo’s financial dominance, and the Milken Institute’s narrative-shaping. It points to a future where AI governs not for the public good but for the benefit of a select few, undermining democracy and privacy.
A Call to Question the Agenda
The agenda Musk promotes at Milken is not about empowerment; it’s about control. The networks behind it…Musk, Milken, Pierce, Thiel, Epstein…
We must scrutinize who benefits from this AI-driven future. The elite players pushing this narrative always prioritize power over accountability.
Question the motives. Follow the connections. And hold onto what makes us human: our judgment, our creativity, our ability to resist. The future is not inevitable; it’s ours to shape.

Brother, This is great. You have such a great grasp of thses networks of 'friends' in this technocracy. I am going to read anything you put out here. I read on x, but I really prefer this format. Long form, pics, links, etc ... really drive the message home. This might be hard to grasp for the normie, but someone has to go to the logical conclusions and make an argument. Descriptions made here are not for the weakly researched
